According to George M. Findley's genealogy, which was on Roots Web (I can't find it now): "Alexander moved to Armagh Co, Ireland and then settled in Dublin
!Fought in King William's War, 1690. Merchant in Dublin 1691-1706 (Albert Finley France).
!According to Stout, p.14, went to Ireland in 1674; served in King William's War, 1690; wool and linen merchant in Dublin; His first 3 sons went to American on "Eagle Wing." Baptismal records of children at St. Peters [in Dublin?]."
