Notes from: Kathleen HulmesIn the Blandford Cemetery located in Petersburg, Va., where Eliza was to have moved with her father about age 9, there is a William Knock who died Feb. 4, 1846 at the age of 22. His parents were William Knock and Mary. There is also a George R. Knock who died June 22, 1845 at the age of 5 years, 3 months, the son of William Knock and Martha. I have thought that Mary should be the mother of Eliza and William I presume Mary died and William, Sr., married Martha. I do not know this as a fact and I do not even know if this William Knock was the father of Eliza .
