This is the plan submitted to the cemetery to show current and future space reservations.
Markers:
Roseville Cemetery Marker Requirement
- 32" x 24" is the maximum dimension.
- All markers must be set in concrete with a mandatory 2” wide concrete border on all four sides to protect the marker.
- A 6" wide border is required for flower vases.
Note: Some of our headstones are larger than this, so I don't know if they are enforcing it.
See Headstones/Grave Markers at donsnotes.
Office Assignment List:
2002 layout:
There 3 graves #1-3 on the north side of our lot (126) labeled as Taylor on Dad's old diagram. The cemetery has been unable to locate any family members for them.
Name | Death | Age | Birth Place | Death Place |
William | 1/23/44 | 87 | Ill. | Oakland |
Adelia Alta | 9/20/37 | 76 | CA | Sacramento |
Charles Jesse | 12/12/74 | 78 | | Oakland |
Evelin Doris | 12/4/80 | 83 | | Oakland |
Evelin | 1921 |
Charles & Evelin Baby | 1884 |
There are other (unrelated) McBrides in lot 100 just north of our lot.
Cracking wall
The corner of the brick wall around our plot was knocked out when they put in curbs some time ago. It was fixed once but cracked again. They are replacing these with new borders, but we will have to cover half the cost. I'll check to see how much that will cost.
